About me...
I’m currently setting up a business with my buddy Jess, for the creation and sale of custom invitations, cards and lovely prints.

About my square...
My square has been gocco’d, appliquéd and handsewn. First, I drew the design in pencil. I then photocopied each element of the design in order to create my screens. These were then printed and hand-sewn to my calico square using red and beige thread in back-stitch and blanket stitch.

I really like birds. I think they are a symbol of freedom and beauty to many people.

I saw some of your pictures of the process. I'd love to see this one in person. I was fascinated by the combination of media.

I'd say your block definitely has an air of freedom about it! Success! And I love your fairie's spidery arms, and your creation process sounds fantastic.

It was gorgeous short stop. I'd love to see it actually made into a quilt. Thank you for inviting us! Have a wonderful trip and post often. Much Love. Nellie.
